ETL (Extract, Transform, Load): A process for extracting data from sources, transforming it, and loading it into a target system.

ELT (Extract, Load, Transform): A variation of ETL that loads data into a target system before transforming it.

Data Pipeline: A series of processes that extract, transform, and load data into a target system.

Data Governance: The overall management of an organization’s data assets.
